ISPC: Lunch, Conversation, and Community

Meet fellow student-parents in health professional programs, share lunch and conversation, and learn about resources for student-parents! We will update this schedule with specific topics and locations as we have them.

These monthly lunches will be held on Tuesdays from 12:00pm - 12:30pm.

Student Parent Help Center Office Hours in Health Science Education Center

Stephanie Lee is the Graduate Student Parent Counselor at the Student Parent HELP Center and a licensed social worker with years of family and youth work experience. Stephanie is available for one to one consultation appointments for any graduate or professional student who is in need of family related support. Stephanie is also the person graduate students will complete their initial intake with, when at all possible.

Please email [email protected] if you would like to schedule an appointment with Stephanie. This is a great opportunity to learn about the Child Care Assistance Grants available at the U of M.

Parent-to-Parent Luncheon with Faculty

Join us for the annual Parent-to-Parent Luncheon with Faculty. Along with the Student Parent HELP Center, we are hosting a panel lunch featuring healthcare faculty from various fields who are parents. This will be an excellent opportunity to learn from, and network with, professionals who excelled in their healthcare careers and/or education while parenting.
