Registration

The CLARION Student Board has officially launched registration for the 2027 CLARION Local Case Competition, taking place on February 20, 2027!

As part of an interproferssional team, you will compete to create innovative solutions and make recommendations to a panel of judges surrounding a constructed, thought-provoking case.

Team scholarships of up to $3,000 will be granted to the top three winning teams! Further, the first place team at the local case competition will advance to our national competition in April.

We encourage all health professional students to register for the competition! This free, fun, in-depth interprofessional and problem-solving experience will provide students with a unique way to address healthcare issues through a student-driven lens. The case competition is an excellent opportunity to prepare for interprofessional practice and promote leadership and communication skills.

Students will have the option to register individually or as interprofessional teams. Interprofessional teams must consist of 3-4 individuals from at least two professions. Teams will receive a case, and will work together to articulate a solution, presenting their work to a panel of judges.

We encourage students from Duluth, Rochester, St. Cloud, and Twin Cities campuses to participate in this wonderful scholarship opportunity. Make sure to share this information with your peers!

Please note, the average time teams spend on this project is ~20-30 hours total over a few weeks. We encourage students to consider your time availability before registering, as it is difficult to shift teams once assigned.
