CHIP staff is working in conjunction with the Office of Equity and Diversity to hold a workshop for health professional students introducing participants to the core concepts around equity, diversity, and social justice.
These workshops aim to help participants develop tools necessary for advancing equity and diversity in all aspects of their personal and professional lives. The “My Role in Equity and Diversity Work” workshop will help us explore foundational terminology, work to understand our own identities, explore bias and oppression, and learn about how to work to be an ally and advocate in this work. As future health professionals, we think this is an incredibly important dialogue to engage in as you move forward in your careers.
